Push your workouts directly to Garmin Connect

I have some exciting news that many of you have been asking for. I’ve been working hard on this, and I’m thrilled to announce that QZ can now push your workouts directly to Garmin Connect!

Whether you’re grinding on the treadmill, smashing a session on the rower, or putting in miles on your bike or elliptical, QZ has you covered.

Why this is a big deal

Until now, getting that sweet, sweet Training Effect data on Garmin often required some manual “gymnastics.” No more. By syncing directly, Garmin can now process your QZ data to give you the most accurate feedback on your fitness levels and recovery, all in one place.

How to set it up (Read carefully!)

To make this work, there are a couple of things you need to do:

  1. Update QZ: This feature is available starting from version 2.20.20. Make sure you’re running the latest build!
  2. Security First: This is the most important part. To allow QZ to talk to Garmin, you MUST enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in the security settings of your Garmin Connect account. Without 2FA, the sync won’t be able to go through.

Let’s see those settings

I’ve attached a screenshot below to show you exactly where to find the Garmin settings within QZ. It’s a quick toggle, and you’re good to go!

I’m really happy with how this integration turned out, and I can’t wait to hear what you think. As always, thanks for being part of the QZ journey!

Happy training!
